"Iride di Tibaldi" by Lazzaroni
Iride: the transparency of Tibaldi comes back to life thanks to the intervention of Lazzaroni Penne. Due to various ownership changes, the molds were lost, and this pen was at risk of ending up in an incinerator. Maurizio Abrami then came up with a limited edition within the limited edition.
Maurizio Abrami acquired 123 "Iride" Tibaldi fountain pens, engraved them with his store's logo, numbered them, and gave them a new "autonomous" life. In this way, he transformed them into a rarity for collectors, just as rare as a variety of butterflies native to northern Italy.
The Iride butterfly features, in the male, black wings with iridescent reflections, hence the colors of the reborn Iride pen.
