The Lamy Dialog Fountain Pen is the first Lamy in which the nib and the clip can be retractable. The new twist mechanism technology has made it possible to remove the cap, the spring slides elegantly out from the inside of the container, while the clip drops down onto the cap.
When the Lamy Dialog is in the closed position, the retracted nib is covered by a ball valve protecting it from drying and dirt. The nib is made of partially platinum 14 kt gold.The pen has a Lamy T 10 blue ink cartridge and Lamy Z 27 converter.
