The body of the Writers Edition is in bright brown lacquer, decorated with the writer's signature.
The design of the Writers Edition Cervantes is inspired by the famous "Don Quixote," one of Cervantes' most successful works. It particularly recalls the blades of windmills, whose shape is reflected in the writing instrument and the clip. The different thickness of the two ends symbolizes the contrasting characters of Don Quixote and his squire Sancho Panza.
