The Montblanc Donation Pen Collection 2015 pays tribute to the "King of the Waltz" Johann Strauss, Viennese composer, and his greatest passion: the violin. Body in precious black resin and clip in the shape of a bow.

Typology

The Donation Pen 2015 edition pays tribute to Johann Strauss, the Austrian composer of operettas and Viennese waltzes, also known as the "King of Waltz".
By purchasing a Montblanc Donation Pen, a set portion of the proceeds will be donated to carefully selected cultural projects related to classical music.

The design is entirely inspired by the shapes of the first Donation Pen (dedicated to Leonard Bernstein).
In honor of Strauss's greatest passion, the shape of the clip resembles a violin bow.
Johann Strauss's signature and the Montblanc name are delicately engraved on the cap ring with champagne gold-tone finishes.
The nib is embellished with the refined engraving of a bat, as a reference to the famous operetta "Die Fledermaus" (The Bat).
The ink window of the Fountain Pen is cognac-colored, to remind of the color of the wooden violin.

Features:
Body in precious black resin. Cap in black resin with inlaid Montblanc emblem.
Violin bow-shaped clip.

Fountain Pen: piston filling; nib with bat engraving.
