Montegrappa presents the WILD project dedicated to Africa, seeking to recreate the magical sensation of a sunset on the vast African plains. In collaboration with National Geographic wildlife photographers Helle and Uri Løvevild Golman, Montegrappa explores Africa.
The Wild Savannah Sunset Fountain Pen takes on the silhouette and specifications of the previous Baobab collection, but this time it features a blend of a unique and exotic color. This blend indeed uses contrasting threads of black, red, orange, and yellow resin, with a touch of ivory to highlight the craftsmanship of the resin.
The details are made of stainless steel, such as the engraving of the compass rose, an owl feather-shaped clip, and a cap band with zebra stripes.
This fountain pen features a 6-millimeter 18-carat gold filigree nib, powered by cartridge/converter with the following available nibs: EF, F, M, OM, B, OB, BB, Stub 1.1.
The Wild Savannah Sunset collection is a limited edition with 999 numbered pieces available in each mode.
The pen is placed in a custom cardboard case with photographs, passport stamps from the Project WILD archive of Helle and Uri Løvevild Golman, and postcards taken in the Masai Mara ecosystem in Kenya by the greatest National Geographic explorers and photographers.
