Kabazaiku (the art of cherry bark work) is a typical craft of Japanese artistic tradition that flourished in Kakunodate in Akita Prefecture, Japan.
The technique has been used since the 1700s by samurai warriors to decorate their weapons and various accessories. The same uncompromising spirit of quality and craftsmanship has been passed down from generation to generation, culminating in this splendid fountain pen.
