Sailor launches a new King of Pen in a limited version equipped with the special Naginata Togi nib. The 2024 edition draws inspiration from Tiger, an artwork by Ito Jakuchu. The fountain pen is made of yellow ebonite with black veins, recalling the shades of the tiger represented in the painting.
The Naginata Togi nib, compared to a classic nib, has a noticeably more elongated structure. Its tip is expertly shaped and polished specifically to recall the characteristic shape of the Japanese Naginata sword, allowing variable writing depending on the inclination and guaranteeing a fluid and homogeneous trace with light pressure.
Ebonite, a natural material that requires a unique production process, transmits a pleasant warmth to the touch and offers an elastic consistency with particular grains, giving a luxurious writing experience. This fountain pen uses ebonite with inlaid colors to enhance its natural elegance. The Sailor KOP Ebonite Mouko is limited to 500 pieces worldwide, each numbered on the cap. The precious wooden box contains the fountain pen together with a bottle of black ink.
